Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Fee Dispute

I was a defendant in a corporate law suit. I was dismissed in summary judgment. The law firm is now suing me for money, breach of contract and account stated. I do not think I actually hired this firm. But I do know they missed a discovery filing date and made other errors in their billing. I have to file an answer by the 20th of June (wednesday). A Paralegal said I need the answer and a declaration. It will cost $200.00 to file with the court and $150.00-$200.00 for the services. The case was filed in Sacramento Superior Court. Should I seek legal help and from whom? What type of attorney will look at this? How do I afford this? Since they breached the contract can I sue them?
