In general, and technically, if you sold a car to someone in the family and this car broke down in three to six months, the repair costs is on seller or buyer?? The car was sold below blue book rate and never broke down before. The cost of repair was $600. Who is in responsible?

Normally on the buyer, it is their car. You haven't told us anything else that would make us think that you are at fault.
