Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Greasing Accountant and Attorneys

I am involved in a business situation where I am due to receive a percentage of the revenue from the company. I recently found out that the owner of the company gave percentages to bot the accountant doing books and business attorney. It seems to me that makes it a bit unfair to grease your accountant whose doing your books, and the business attorney drawing up the contracts and agreements for the business. Is this a legal practice?
