Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Hi,

I was involved in a contract about 3 years ago. This was during 2008. Early 2009, I found out that I got scam and that the contract was not legal. Please let me know because i believe that the statue of limitation will be over by next year or so if no further action is taken at my end. I got scare and didn't know what to do therefore it took me so long.

This fraud action had ruin my credit and had turn my life 180 degrees.

Regards,

Michael

If it was an oral contract, it's two years -- exactly when in 2008? If it's a written contract it's generally four years. But I haven't read your contract and I could be wrong. So who do you want to sue and why.

This is not a legal ethics question. This category is for people who have issues with something an attorney did. Unless your contract was with a lawyer, I suggest you repost to general civil litigation or the business law categories, and add some detail.
