Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Please help!!!

My husband has a cese pending with insurance company for personal and real property damage. His attorney is pressing very hard to either drop the case or substitute him out in pro per or otherwise. The deposition is scheduled in 2 weeks, mediation in September, but he refuses to attend. What do we do? Please help!!!

Get your file from the lawyer and have another attorney review it immediately. You might have your present attorney call the opposing attorney to postpone the deposition for a few weeks. Feel free to contact me directly to discuss.
