Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
Following an invasion in our lives my wife of 35 years and I lost our home, I developed shingles from the emotion stress, to say the least we even after 5 months are both emotionally spent. We have raised 6 children and in the begining of this year sent the last child out on her own, my wife suffered from empty nest. A sex predator whom I might add sits on the board of directors at a ministry that strictly focuses on helping people overcome painful experiences, this in its self raises concerns. This predator kept my wife on an emotional high for around 3 months, always knew what to say and when to say it. He had my wife eating out of his hand and doing some very disgusting things for him via skype. My wife and I lost everything except, thankfully each other. Can we hold this creep accountable for his unacceptable behavior, and the result of it?
