Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

law

In a judicial misconduct case, the judge who is being sued for his conduct, his clerk (superior court, Ca.) was caught having exparte communications with the presiding judge who is rulling on this case.

I need to know the codes, or rules for this violation. ?
