Lawyers Fees

I was awarded $1185, my doctor fees are $485, my attorney is keeping the balance because he spent $3200 on the case. I signed a contract that stated he would get 40% of what I was awarded. Can you please help me.

Well, it might helpful if you told us what your question was. It sounds to me like you chose to pursue a case that had a little or no value compared to what would cost to pursue. This being the case, I don't see how you are going to end up with any money at all.
