Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Is it legal to post a picture of someone's face online without their consent? The picture would be taken at their place of employment. What if the person is given the option of removing the picture at their discretion?

Next to this answer there is a space for my picture, and instead you will read the words, Never Upload Your Photo To The Internet. There's no delete button on the internet. Your photo can and will be used by people you wish hadn't seen it. If my employer did this I'd be livid.
