Talk to your mother, by hook or crook and get her a lawyer who has absolute access and works only for her.
Powers of Attorney can be revoked.

Get an attorney and probably seek a court order.

You should seek an attorney in the probate area of the law, or one who practices in the area of elder abuse. Often, one who secretes an elder person may also improperly manage that person's finances. Check out attorney referral services in or near the county in which your mother resides.
