Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Patient Quotes

I represent a small dental office. We recieved a number of thank you cards from patients. We would like to quote some of them in a collateral peice but we are unable to get a hold of them to ask permission to use their quotes. If they sent these to us in writing do we have permission (legally) to use their statements?

Please advise. Thank you.

I think you can use the quotes but i would not use names without permission.
