Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
Personal Credit Card
Recently I went on a business trip. I do about 4-5 a month. With the economy the way it is we are limited to $10 for breakfast and Lunch and $20 for dinner. I provided a reciept for $20 for dinner, however now my company is asking me for a copy of my personal credit card statement. I don't feel right giving them this information. Do I have to? There is nothing in any of our employee handbooks or the like stating that in this event we are required to do so.

Re: Personal Credit Card
Why would it hurt? On a copy, black out your account number, balances, and paste a white paper over other stuff that doesn't pertain to your trip. That way, the only thing they'll have is the charge for dinner.
