Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

police ethics

My boyfriend and I live in a duplex. The family that lives downstairs had a friend of there daughters visiting them when police spotted him inwhich he was wanted for shooting at a neighbor down the street. At 7pm Monday night, I went down stairs to get some bottled water out of my car and was told to put my hands in air and walk towards them. I had no jacket on, and had no idea what was going on. Then they asked me if anyone else was home. My boyfriend was in bed sick with the flu and I was told to call him to come out also. I also informed police officers that I was in the middle of cooking dinner and that my oven was on. After about five hours of being out in the street the swat team was called out. A command centered was set, an armored vehicle,a robot, about 30 cops, a whole lot a confussion and police laughing and joking and not taking the situation serious. We were the victims in this case and yet were treated like we were the criminals. We were not offered blankets or asked to sit in one of there cars or nothing. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We were mistreated and had to suffer the after math. Do we have a case against the misconduct of the police?
