primary parent lost custody of child/lazy negligent legal representation

loose custody child(6yrold)lack of attorney representaion. mother no criminal history retired stay at home mom. father non us citizen, numerous drug/alcohol convictions, domestic violence(exwife)na/aa, granted full custody. i havebeen put through extreme emotional distress, personnal slandered, cps investigations and charges, false allegations, deflamation of character, no evidence to support any allegation made against me but parenting evaluation and reccomendation to court which i disputed and attorneys lack of effort to defend. It should never have been allowed to reach the point it did. severe damage to emotions and lives that is causing unrepairable and deep scars on a child. how do i fight this? is it too late? how can i fix damage?
