Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
Is it proper for a judge tem pro to refuse to look at documents that would clearly prove the summons and complaint faudulent by stating, "if I thought that man(landlord) was lying to me, I'd be mad at him, and then I'd be here to help you. But, if I thought he made a mistke, well, that doesn't really amount to anything."

Your question makes no sense. A summons and complaint cannot be fraudulent. Legal papers are completely privileged.
