Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

There is a question that i must find out. I still have a military I.D. My friend asked me if i can use it to get him a 5 and a half inch knife off a website. I went to the website and the knife is only reserved for Police or Military. I wouldn't be asking, but he is a responsible individual, and i said i would look into it. But if i have to register it or it is not permitted then i will not do it. Here is the website http://www.benchmade.com/products/150

I strongly advise you not use your military ID to obtain weapons to import in California that are illegal in California.
