Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

retirement disability

i was injured on the job in 2001, the w/c physician handling my case diagnosed me that same year with fibromyalgia. i have been under a doctors care since. i stopped working in 2004 due to my disabilities. my employer has granted me non-service connected retirement disability, based on fibromyalgia and depression. i think they should give me service-connected retirement disability and should pay anything medically related. i am no longer able to work. can you help me or can you tell me what i should do? several doctors have said that the injury i sustained led to my disabililties.

Re: retirement disability

You need advice from a worker's compensation attorney, and I know very little about this field.

I suggest you resubmit this in the worker's compensation section.

Good luck!
