Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

suspended attorney

A deputy district attorney was suspended by the Cal state bar from 9/29/1986 through 3/24/1988, a total of 18 consecutive months. He continued to prosecute cases during the time he was suspended, appearing in court daily. What impact does his suspension have on the cases he tried?? In one of the cases tried by the suspended Dep DA, a defense attorney (in the same case) had also been suspended (and later disbarred). What real effect would this compounded situation have (where both prosecutor & defense counsels ar suspended)??? Please respond asap. Thanks

Re: suspended attorney

the suspended DA should be reported to the state bar. Please follow up on that. So many of these guys are dirty it would be good to get one off the streets. as far as the defense attorney, that may be grounds to appeal a criminal conviction.
