wedding videography hassle
I was married last year in July and my wedding video was due, as stated in the contract, in December of 2007. The company did not have my video done and still does not almost a year later. They have a clause in the contract that states if they do not complete the video by the date stated in the contract that it is not a breech of contract. They have given me a total of 5 completion dates after December and all were broken. Can I take them to small claims court and get some of my money back? Even if I get my video soon, can I still take them to court for breaking verbal agreements various times?

You can sue anybody, so "Yes", you can take them to court.
Since it is nearly a year, it might be a good time to file in small claims court. However, I find usually that a strong letter from a lawyer is frequently productive. I would do that first, since you can't resolve this by yourself.
An oral agreement, i.e. contract, is as binding as a written one....just harder to prove.
