Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

My sister left me money in her will. I received a ltr from the lawyer after disbursing the funds, stating they are holding 10k in an non interest bearing fund for 2 years. The time has passed but i am unable to reach the lawyer nor the wills trustee. What can i do?

Send a certified, return receipt letter demanding your inheritance. If it's not forthcoming, you may have to file a lawsuit.

If the attorney is in CA and practicing, the bar assoc should have his contact info. If not, you may contact me.
