Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California
What am I doing wrong
I signed a quit claim for a million dollar property because my lawyer said I had no other options, in exchange the plaintiffs would dismiss their lawsuit and I would never be bothered again. He purposely mislead me as he knew and agreed to a dismissal without prejudice, but acted as shocked as I, when a year later they filed a second lawsuit. It grew and grew out of neglect and it took several years and 75,000.00 to defend myself and property. I have a malpractice claim in progress and recently found out that it does not contain all the issues I was told it would. I need help and don't know where to turn, I have a status conference coming up and unless I have an attorney my case will probably get dismissed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you not have an attorney on your current case for malpractice? If you do, what, exactly, is your question.
