Legal Question in Mediation in California
An accident
Three boys were playing football on the street. The ball was thrown by one boy and the other two weren't able to catch it. The ball ended up breaking a car mirror. The car was parked on the street.
My question: Should all three boys share the cost for the repair or should one (thrower) be the only one responsible for the repair.

Re: An accident
Seems to me that ideally all three should share the responsibility. You might tender the claim to your homeowners' insurance carrier for a coverage determination.

Re: An accident
If it was forseeable that the ball could have hit the car, they should be equally responsible.
