Legal Question in Mediation in California
Arbitration Agmt. (Void if in court) However, filed claim with AAA. Mediation prerequisite. It is part of the process of AAA as well as normal to mediate prior to arbitration/litigation. Defendants have not paid their filing fee due this Friday. AAA will dismiss and state that I have a right to file in court. I want to submit an amended claim/complaint, reiterate following protocols and there will be an initiation for mediation first. I had a deadline to file the claim/complaint and if I had missed it, than there would be no claim to mediate and than arbitrate. Stall tactics by defendants, yes? CONFIDENTIAL
