Asking a former Attorney for your file
Do you have a form to requset your file from a former attorney.

Re: Asking a former Attorney for your file
Nothing special is required, just write him/her and demand your file back. It is your file. If you do not get a satisfactory prompt response, notify the California State Bar. They will contact the attorney and ask him for your file to be forwarded to you. They will also remind the attorney that it is YOUR file.
