Legal Question in Mediation in California
court award
My child was awarded a substantial amount of money through court order which can not be touched until he is 18 and i need money to take care of him from this money which is in a bank account until he is 18, how can i legally obtain money from this account

You would have to petition the court to order the release of some or all of the funds. It's best that an attorney help you with that . . . perhaps your child's original attorney can do that.
