Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

cosmetic rhinoplasty done incorrectly

My sister had her nose fixed just before graduating form university, the surgen did a HORRIFIC job... he had shown us B4 and after pics of her, but stated that we could not get a print out of them for security purposes nor could he show us B4 and after pics of others because of legal reasons. The 1st procedure was around $7000 ( her graduation gift) after months of us calling and going in about the fact that it was still very large, crooked and still had a hump, he insisted on staroid injections...which never worked and eventually left her with extra hanging skin betweed her nostrals, so we resolved to redoing it under local anestisia (another $1000 out of our pocket) through all the pain and suffering, loss of work and her becoming increasingly depressed, my parents managed to finance another procedure. This time with a refferal from a trusted family member, and a surgen from Los Angeles. She once again went under (just today)this last doctor informed us that we were mislead with alot of the resoning we got after the 1st procedure but vas very hesitant with giving details due to the fact that he was classmates with the doctors father. Would like to know if we can fight this.Others we know all got their B4 & after pics. THANK U.
