Delayed Surgery - Part 1
My case is segemented into 2 parts due to it exceeding 1250 characters, please refer to both emails
Ruptured Appendix
I exhibited signs of appendicitis the day before. The next morning I called an ambulance due to extreme pain in my lower right quadrant. I had all the classis symptoms of appendicitis, which were nausea, vomiting, fever and excruciating pain. Within 15 minutes of arriving at the hospital, I was examined immediately by the head emergency physician. Upon his physical examination he speculated that I exhibited the signs of acute appendicitis and was told that I would have to have surgery. My medical bill from the Emergency room does classify me as a Level 5 emergency (the highest level of emergency).
That day, the emergency was overcrowded & I was moved to the outer perimeters of the emergency room where I was out of the mainstream of other emergency patients. They told me that they needed to attend to patients that needed more medical attention than I.
Because I was pushed to the backside of the emergency room, I believe they forgot about me. I was not wheeled into the operating room until over 10 hours later.

I don't know what happened next because part II never appeared. Since you are sending this question, you apparently survived. Did your appendix rupture, requiring a more extensive surgrey and recovery period. Were there other complications.
Medical malpractice cases, particularly require substantial damages, otherwise they are not worth prosecuting. They are particularly expensive to prosecute due to the need to prove so much of the case through qualified physician experts that charge so much for their consultation and testimony services.
If you want to discuss your case further, feel free to call.
