Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
disabled for life
I was given a drug called lupron for abdominal pain, which was not approved by the FDA to be used for abdominal pain. I was diagnosed one year ago with Polymyositis, a crippling disease, that destroys your muscles, including heart and lungs, and can cause cancer in several areas of your body. It has no cure. It is an autoimmune disease. I am finding out that this drug can destroy your immune system. All of my symtoms were listed under the symtoms of this drug. The doctor that administered this drug also removed my right ovary which did not need to be removed, and caused such severe complications that I almost died. I am young with two small children and don't have the energy to even play with them, because I have to work full time. My marriage is failing and I need to know what my legal actions are. Please HELP!!!

Contact an experienced medical malpractice attorney. In Cal it is very hard to sue doctors, etc. You need competent advice. You can find an attorney by calling the local bar, the California Bar Assn, or the best way is to get out your phone book and start calling attorneys asking for a reference.
