Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
Did th doctor remove my wife from the intubator to soon
My wife had been diagnosed with acondition described by her heart doctor as follows. she had 2 heart valves replaced 7 years ago. the sack that surrounds the heart shrank and became stiff restricting her heart and causing her lungs to fill with fluid. she was in ICU when another doc decided to take her off the intubator and reduce her Lasiks. She did well for 2 days but then had to be placed back on the intubator. She did not recover and died from heart failure brought on by the problems with her lungs. I would also like to know the name of her condition regarding the heart sack

Don't ask lawyers a question that can only be answered by doctors. IF you learn from the doctors that the treatment was negligent, and one of them is willing to testify to that, you can then have counsel file a medical malpractice claim. You can not even file without such medical opinion. Assuming this is within the last year, and IF you are able to get a doctor willing to say that, then contact me to discuss the facts and procedures.

Please accept my condolences.
If you would send me her medical records, I'll review it free of charge. Was there an autopsy done on her? If so, what was the conclusion?

Sounds like your wife had serious medical problems. There is not likely to be a viable case here because there are no significant damages. I know this sounds harsh but you wife probably hadn't long to live in any case.
