Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
My doctor tested me for allergies to determine my sensitivities and prescribed a homeopathic medication from Foothills Pharmacy. The pharmacy will not sell me the medication directly and I have to purchase from the doctor's office at their determined price (for six weeks this was $200.00 and is now $250.00). Is this legal? I want my prescription and then I can go to another pharmacy.

Homeopathic Medicine isn't the usual sort of medicine that you can just buy at any pharmacy with a prescription. At best, homeopathy is a form of medical treatment that is outside of normal western medicine. Consider that you wouldn't be able to purchase most traditional Chinese medicine at an ordinary pharmacy.
Read up about homeopathy. Many people consider it to be a form of quackery that relies on the placebo effect.
