Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

epidural issues

On Dec 6, 2007 I gave birth to a baby with the help of an epidural. Ever since I have had tingling in my right foot that isn't getting any better. I most likely have nerve damage I am told from the epidural. I want to know if I have a case against the anastegioligist.

Re: epidural issues

You need to consult a lawyer who specializes in personal injury or, more particularly, medical malpractice. He will obtain your medical records and have them reviewed by his or her expert to determine whether there was a departure from the applicable standard of care. Only an expert can make that determination.

Best of luck with the new baby. I can recommend several good PI lawyers if you want to give me a call.

Re: epidural issues

Probably not. It is an unavoidable risk of the procedure in a small number of cases.

Very much of a longshot, but follow Mr. Lee's advice, if you want to go further.

Good luck with the baby.
