Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

grandfather died

Hi,

Me and my grandma were in the

hospital room when the nurse put a

1 foot suction tube into my

grandfather's nose to suction him -

at that point his eyes rolled up into

his head and his heart rate dropped.

The nurse did not notice this and

walked out of the room - and when I

called out Emergency to the nurses

they were not responding quickly - by

the time they got a code blue to him

- and tried to revive him - he came

back to life into a coma - losing 3/4 of

his brain. What can be done? Please

Let me know

Re: grandfather died

You can wait to see what happens now, and take care of your Grandma emotionally through this crisis. After all is said and done, you can and should contact a med mal lawyer to get the records and look into the matter to determine if there is a case worth bringing. The Statue of limitations is one year for med mal.
