Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
hernia patch recall
I had venral and umbellical hernias and had the mesh patch put into my body. I now am facing my 2nd anal fistula operation and my doctor says I will most likely be facing at least 1-2 more after that. And ive already noticed yet another infection (which Im sure is yet another fistula comming to surface). Who can i contact in reguards to my legal rights about the hernia mesh recall? My docotro said that its only about fistulas that are on the site on the scare from the hernia operation-yet Ive read the patch can cause bowel and intestinal problems and for the life of me i cannot see anything else for which couldve caused these fistulas to suddenly start appearing!! My doctor has even told me i could loose my bowel control which would be devestaing for me because i am extremely active. Is there anyone who can tell me all the specifics about the recall and what it intitles? Thank you
