Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Knee Replacements Gone Bad

I was told I had toi have both knee's replaced due to arithritss. Left one done August 06, dodn't go so well. Got stuck at 60 degrees. doctor had to minunuplate it 1 1\2 months later. Had the rt knee done March 07. put the womens implant in my knee felt great for 1 month. got up from the sofa and my knee snaped like a rubber band. Noticed my knee was out of place after it snaped. Doc put me in a brace torn ligament and muscle. If it requries surgery it will be a a major one, besides he was going on vacation and didn't want to leave me after a surgery like that. I went for a second opioion and was told the patella is rotated take the x-rays back to your doctor. Did so, he told me it was not something he would do he would refered me out to another doctor. I went back to the doctor I saw previous which this time told me he had to take the whole knee replacement out and put a new one in. The one thats in there is so twisted it has to come out and it will be a very diffuicullt surgery and recovery. I will get the statability back but not sure abut anything else. Both kness are in bad shape the rt more. On SSD at this time unable to work.
