Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

limit tossed aside

I have had a med mal lawsuit for 5 yrs and lawyer said it had to be heard this month but opposing lawyer is busy and the judge overruled it a pushed it back till oct is this legal what happened to my victums rights and can any thing be done im at wits end wish i could sue the judge [just kidding] thanks--name removed--

Well, apparently the judge waived the 5 year prosecution requirement. Still, I would have gotten a little anxious a couple of years ago, and held the attorney's feet to the fire at that time.
