Malpractice claims against VA social workers in Palo Alto California, is there any current case information or case law?

You cannot hire an attorney for a VA claim. But for federal tort claim you can. You should see a local medical malpractice attorney and file both.

FYI for your VA claim you have to have evidence of negligence to be considered.
Also don't think that a tort clam is unnecessary. Most people mess up the VA claim and/or you're delayed by them till after the tort claim deadline.This means you cannot sue on the tort claim anymore and thus you're getting nothing.
