Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

possible med mal case

I was trying to see if I had a med mal case and gave a lawyer my medical records in November 2007. I have been calling and leaving messages and was told to call at a certain time and did and got no answer. I think my time limit is up if I do have a case. I was told today I would get a call back. Is there anything to be done if time is up?

Go to the law office in person, and DEMAND the file. If you think the time limit is about up, do not wait.
