Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

misdianosis

i recently changed doctors aurine test was done and blood was found in the urine a follow up test was done with the same results now i am going to go thru more test for my kidneys and bladder my current dr stated to me that my records from my last dr showed a urine test was done 5 years ago and blood was in the urine then but no follow up or disscussion was made ialso saw 2 other drs at the same facility and they did not mention the results of the test do i have any grounds for a law suit

It depends. If the diagnosis is the type of condition which progresses you may have a viable lawsuit. Otherwise you have no injury. Only serious injury is viable to support a med mal case since the cost of bringing the suits in terms of expert witness fees are high. Have the case reviewed by an experience med mal lawyer.

The most important information is missing here. What injuries are you claiming as a result of failure to diagnose? Did you loose one of your kidneys? Are you in therapy because of that?
