Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
Both parents have passed recently,there is no will and there names were the only names on the deed, house is pay off, what happens to the house.

I'm sorry to hear of your losses. If you have brothers and sisters, one of you can file a petition in superior court for letters of administration to deal with your parents' estate. Try to get an agreement among you who it will be. Then you can resolve the house issue through the probate -- it can be sold and the proceeds divided among you, you might agree that one of you might live there and pay rent to the other, buy out the others' share, etc. If you have no siblings, legally you would have to have court approval to be able to sell the house, transfer it, etc.
