Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
Pharmacy Error
A pharmacy made an error on 1 prescription, two refills of that same prescription and a different one also all at different times. What are my rights. It was not a fatal mistake but any mistake is big to me where medicine is involved. Plus they were for my children. They seem apologetic but I am very upset. This was the first time I had ever used this pharmacy.

Re: Pharmacy Error
Unless it caused you or your children significant harm, report it to the Department of Consumer Affairs for the State of California. They license pharmacies.

You have excellent advice from Mr. Cohen and Mr. Roth.
Re: Pharmacy Error
It depends what the error was. Was it the wrong medication, the wrong dosage? Were your children harmed by taking the wrong medication? Did you notice the difference in the pills? These are all questions that must be answered for an attorney to evaluate whether you have a case. There also is a state licensing board for pharmacists to whom you might complain.
