Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

I was severly over medicated and almost died. 6 years of pain and in bed. I begged to be taken off meds but they said no and not to stop myself or I might have a heart attack. A doctor then said I was overmedicated. What I was on was equal to 50-70 vicodin a day for all those years.

I spoke to 2 attorneys who said it's not their kind of case and one said it would have been better if I died. I am almost to the 1 year mark when it was discovered I was overmedicated. I have health issues due to all the meds and brian issues. I have years of emails begging the doctor to help me and them saying I am fine. I have a list of all the pills they piled on me. They are very serious medications. Is this a case or should I give up looking for a lawyer? I am slow and get headaches when I think a lot or talk, read or type. it is hard to keep calling and looking.

Try to find a lawyer through a recommendation from someone you know. That lawyer then can refer you to a medical malpractice attorney. Or you can call your local bar association and ask for a referral. Also on Lawguru.com or Findlaw, or other internet sites, many lawyers who do malpractice cases are listed. Good luck.
