Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Statute of limitations.

My uncle is thinking about filing a law suit for medical malpractice arising from medical treatment he received in 1993. Is there a statute of limitations for filing?

Yes there is a statute of limitations. It varies from state to state. I believe that it is 1 year in California, But I am not a california lawyer. Because there are opften exceptions to this rule, you shoudl immeidately call an experienced malpractice attorney and get an answer to this question.
