Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
Timely interpretation
Is there a maximum time permitted between the time an echocardiogram is performed and when it is interpreted? Do you have examples of cases in which late interpretation was a factor?

Re: Timely interpretation
It is a matter of professional practice and must be proven by experts. It certainly can result in a malpractice case. Have your case reviewed by a qualified malpractice attorney.

I don't have enough facts to answer this.
If you really want to know exactly, you'll have to run the facts by several cardiologists, but you are liable to get a number of different answers.
