No Wheelchair for heart patient - asked to leave

A patient was asked to leave emergency rm at a hospital after a 24 hr stay for heart problems(they felt she was stable enough) and colapsed in the parking lot while walking to her ride because no one would wheel her out and suffered head trauma and a bloody nose. What can be done? She did not get help going to restroom getting out of bed or getting dressed.

While this may well be malpractice, the injury has to be severe to justify the expense and risks of a malpractice case. When you say head trauma just what do you mean? Keep in mind that it costs thousands out of pocket to prosecute a med mal case and the damages which result from the malpractice have to justify the expense and risks.
