i was active for about 5 years and then reenlist in NGR. In 2006 I got positive in a random drug test so they decided to discharge me for it. After that day I never heard from them though I still get my LES for couple months. So up to this I dont know what happen to it. My reenlist for my NGR ended last oct 08 and now i was thinking to go back in the service im just worried?

Re: my benifits?
Were you Army or another service? You are likley precluded from ever reenlisting in any of the services absent a waiver from the Secretary of the Army (or whatever Service you were in). Did you receive a DD214? Check it closley for a reenlistment code. If it reflects "RE4" (which is normally what is reflected for a postive drug chapter), you are likley precluded from reenlisting absent convincing the Service Secretary to grant a waiver. You can petition the Service for reconsideration of your discharge if you have evidence the chapter was without basis or otherwise improper.
