self defense
Question is If someone was coming at you wth fists drawn and pistoff at you and you push them to keep them from hurting you because you know the person can hurt you is it selfdefense?

Yes, it should be considered self-defense if you were only protecting yourself and did not escalate the violence. Everything in the law is relative and depemds on the exact circumstances. If all you did was to prevent them from attacking you, it should be considered self-defense.
