gen power of attorney
what is the 'principal' when i am filling out the form? and my fiancee has me doing it because he is out to sea and im trying to get our family into some typpe of house or something, would he have to be with me if i took it to legal on his base to get it notarized?

He is the principal, you are the agent. He has to sign the document in front of a notary. Under the US code, military officers are allowed to administer oaths, and can effectively notarize such a document. He needs to sign and notarize where he is; he can't sign it, send it to you, and have you notarize it at the base. It must be done where he is.
