Legal Question in Military Law in California
Medical Mal Practice?
A doctor prescribed me a powerful and highly addictive painkiller (oxycontin). After becoming addicted and consulting several other doctors they all agree that the medication was far to powerful for my condition and not appropriate. I have know found out that this doc has a history of overprescribing, do I have a case for a lawsuit?

Are you active duty or civilian? It makes a difference. Lawsuits by military members are generally barred by what's called the Feres Doctrine.
