Military AWOL
I am in the national Guard and haven't gone to BCT yet. i am interested in getting out without going to jail. is that possible or will i be sentenced to jail for a long time?

If you have not reported at all, there is a method where you can write to the head recruiting and ask for a release from the contract. Be careful, your actual recruiter is NOT the one to deal with he/she has an interest in keeping you in. It's the recruiting commander that can authorize the release.
