military discharge
in 1981 i re enlisted in the army and i received an honorable discharge. in my second enlistment i received a chapter 10 other than honorable. my question is how do i obtain the honorable discharge because it is not stated on my dd 214 ? va is denying me services because of the oth discharge.

Look at the member's copy (Copy 4) of your first discharge document (DD form 214). In block 24 the Honorable character of discharge should be listed.
If you do not have your DD 214 you can contact my office and we can arrange to get your military records.
